The Casino Luxembourg Contemporary Art Forum has a new president, Delphine Munro.

"I draw upon twenty years of professional experience in the cultural and communication sectors, in the service of creation and contemporary artistic approaches. With a dual perspective - that of the visitor and that of the manager - I aspire, together with members of the Board of Directors, to develop both the local presence of the Casino Luxembourg and its international reputation, while enhancing its laboratory role. Casino Luxembourg operates as a centre of dialogue and engagement in civil society, based on contemporary creation as a lever of expression issues or societal questions" said Delphine Munro, the new president of Casino Luxembourg. Previously engaged in Arts & Culture at the European Investment Bank, she is assisted by Jean Leyder, representative of the Administration of Public Buildings, as vice-president.

Following the resignation of Paul Reiles, president of Casino Luxembourg Contemporary Art Forum from 1996 to 2016, as well as members Otto Fernand and Jean-Marie Felten, a new board was constituted at the last general meeting held in spring 2016.

The new board now consists of seven members - two more compared to previously - who are appointed for terms of five years and whose respective functions were assigned as follows:

Of the five members who formed the old board, two were renewed, namely Claudine Hemmer as a representative of the Ministry of Culture, and Jean-Marie Haensel in his Finance Ministry representative function. Three new members complete the picture with Anne Greiveldinger, representative of the State Department; Gosia Novara, curator at the National Museum of History and Art, and Begga Sigurdardottir, Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Board members, from public and private sectors, have been selected for their skills and knowledge in the field of contemporary art, its administrative and cultural management.
