From 26 September 2015 to 6 January 2016, the Galerie Bernard Ceysson Wandhaff will be showcasing the Feed the Meter exhibition dedicated to the revival of the painting which drives the contemporary New York art scene.

The pieces in the exhibition have been assembled by Wallace Whitney, showcasing the talents of diverse artists including Jonathan Allmeier; Trudy Benson; Lizzi Bougatsos; Sarah Braman; Matt Connors; Mira Dancy; Joe Fyfe; Chris Hood; Sadie Laska; Lauran Luloff; Dona Nelson; Eric Palgon; Elena Pankova; Jon Pestoni; Tyson Reeder; Amanda Ross-Ho; Adrianna Rubinstein; Spencer Sweeney; Annetter Wehrhahn; Anke Weyer; and Wallace Whitney himself.

The images invite viewers to dream of the US, from New York to California, and the energy and effectiveness of this truly American art and in so doing look shed a new light on European art.

The showcase follows two other exhibitions, at the Kunstmuseum in Bonn and the MoMA in New York, which examined the revival of the paint medium. This third exhibition, this time in Luxembourg, will lend itself more favourably to young artists and the colour, expressiveness and sensual strength of their creations.

The vernissage of the exhibition will by held at 18:00 on Saturday 26 September 2015 at Galerie Bernard Ceysson in Wandhaff.
