From Sunday 6 to Thursday 10 November 2022, His Royal Highness the Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg is presiding over a working visit to Boston and New York in the United States (US), led jointly by Luxembourg's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health, Paulette Lenert, and the Minister of the Economy, Franz Fayot.

Mainly focused on the health technology (healthtech) sector, the working visit begins in Boston, notably with a visit to the Mass General Brigham Hospital. It will then continue in New York, where it will also include a space component as well as the organisation of the 10th Luxembourg-American Business Award ceremony; this year's award goes to DuPont for its extension project to Contern. The working visit is organised in close collaboration with the Luxembourg Trade and Investment Office in New York.

Also on the agenda: a seminar, organised by the Luxembourg Private Equity Association (LPEA), the launch of the 2022 edition of the Benelux Catalyst accelerator programme for startups and a visit to Azenta, one of the world's leading providers of solutions for biomedical sciences, which acquired Luxembourg-based B Medical Systems in October 2022 and whose headquarters are located in the State of Massachusetts.

The working visit will end with this year's Luxembourg Space Finance event, organised by the Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA) to discuss the challenges faced by companies and investors wishing to invest in the space sector.
