LAR Provides Helicopter to German Neighbours for Search and Rescue Flights Following Heavy Storm

During the heavy storm last night, Luxembourg Air Rescue (LAR) has confirmed that it has provided a rescue helicopter to undertake search and rescue services in Germany.

The LAR and the German Embassy quickly offered their cross-border assistance through the Luxembourg Foreign Ministry. The LAR rescue helicopter has been made available for search and rescue flights in the devastated regions throughout the day.

"Limitless air rescue is a reality for us," said René Closter, President of Luxembourg Air Rescue. “It goes without saying that we also help our neighbours in emergencies. Our highly professionally trained team is always ready for action."
