On the occasion of the opening of this year’s Christmas markets, the Inspire Metz Tourist Office has announced some special festive events and activities.
The Metz tourist office has organised a range of gourmet and touristic events this festive season for friends and families starting from €4 per person.
These Christmas activities include a special tour of Metz Cathedral on 22 November and 13 December 2017, a guided Sunday stroll in the district of La Citadelle to discover the city’s heritage and an “Angels and Elves” storytelling session for children held on 20 December. A similar child-friendly event is planned for 27 December with a walk around Metz in the search for “Monsters, gargoyles and lanterns”.
Finally, Inspire Metz will be offering bilingual tours in French and German of the city on 18 and 25 November and 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 23, 29 and 30 December.
