Luxembourg's Minister of Finance, Pierre Gramegna, in his capacity as Governor of international financial institutions, will participate in the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank, to be held on 7 and 8 October 2016 in Washington.
On the sidelines of the meetings, the Minister will have meetings with a number of his counterparts to exchange views with political and financial news. In addition, he will participate in working meetings with leaders of the IMF and the World Bank.
This trip will be preceded by a mission of exploration and promotion of the Luxembourg financial centre in New York, where he will speak at a seminar organized by ALFI, the Luxembourg Fund Industry Association. In addition, the Minister will have meetings with major players in the financial sector.
