Luxembourg Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Minister for Immigration and Asylum, Jean Asselborn, today during a roundtable at the 'Berliner Forum Aussenpolitik' of the Körber Foundation in the German capital.

Minister Asselborn spoke alongside his German counterpart, Frank-Walter Steinmeier and President of the Chamber of Deputies, Jan Hamáček, on topics at the heart of the international political agenda, including the refugee crisis in Europe, the Middle East, and the relations between the European Union (EU) and Russia.

The Luxembourg Foreign Minister reprised his words from several other migration meetings he has participated in recently around the world, once again stressing the importance of European solidarity in the face of the refugee crisis and offering his analysis of the conflict in Syria.

Ministers Asselborn and Steinmeier also used the opportunity of the former's visit to Berlin to engage in a bilateral meeting.
