Benoît Quisquater will be replacing Jérôme Tournigand as Head of BGL BNP Paribas Private Banking, the company announced Wednesday.

The decision taken by BGL BNP Paribas' Management Board followed the recent appointment of Mr. Tournigand to Head of International Retail Markets within the Wealth Management division of BNP Paribas.

Benoît Quisquater began his professional career in 1988 when he joined Banque Générale du Luxembourg with a degree in IT. He remained with the IT Development department for seven years, before switing to the Marketing and Sales Strategy team where he acted as Marketing Project leader for nine years. He then joined BNP Paribas Investment Partners in May 2004, when it was known as Fortis Investment Management Luxembourg S.A., initially as Senior Sales Manager before becoming a company Board member in June 2008.

Mr. Quisquater moved to the Private Banking division in February 2013, where he was named Head of the Private Banking Centre North, also becoming Head of Private Banking Centre-West less than two years later.
