On 17 May 2015, the Belle Etoile organised its traditional gourmet market with the Lions Club Mameranus.
This year 495 adults and 79 children joined this gourmet event, showing a continuing increase.
Concerning the charitable nature of this initiative, of the €25 paid by each adult, €10 went towards the Luxembourg Alzheimer Association (ALA), therefore totalling €4,950.
La Belle Etoile added €5,000 to this amount and the Lions Club Mameranus decided to double that amount.
As a result, 2 cheques of €5,000 were handed over to the Luxembourg Alzheimer Association.
The cheque presentation took place in the presence of Alain Tapp, Denis Mancini and Jean-Marie Desbordes of ALA, Georges Molitor and Gérard Louis of Lions Club Mameranus, and Bernadette Muller of the Belle Etoile.
