ArcelorMittal has unveiled an interactive app providing mobile access to its European automotive catalogue.
Available in English, French, German and Spanish, the app enables carmakers, tier-one suppliers, engineers, automotive designers and researchers to access ArcelorMittal’s database of steels and coatings on-the-go, via their iOS or Android device.
“This app offers a new way to browse our rich automotive product catalogue”, explained Francis Bugnard, technical director, Automotive Europe. “It is fast, user-friendly and, of course, mobile”.
ArcelorMittal's automotive catalogue is a complete survey of the company’s comprehensive product range, comprising everything from mild steels for deep drawing, to advanced high-strength steels (AHSS) and tailor-welded blanks.
The app enables users to:
- Find steel products by specific automotive part and application
- Check which steel grades are the best-in-class for any automotive application
- Identify metallic and organic coatings for automotive applications
- Obtain detailed data on ArcelorMittal’s products, such as mechanical properties and chemical composition, as well as information on welding, fatigue and impact strength
- Search the automotive product database
- Keep up-to-date with breaking automotive news from ArcelorMittal
