Organised as an extension of the popular Luxembourg Comedy Showcase, five headline acts will perform in Luxembourg in English: Phil Nichol (Canada), Marcel Lucont (France), Alice Frick (Austria) and Keith Farnan (Ireland). Accompanying them on this occasion will be MC host Christian Schulte-Loh (Germany).

Christian Schulte-Loh (Germany) has been called "a funny German – the only one!" (Kunst Magazine) and "one of the most subversive acts ever" (The Spectator). He often appears on German TV and is a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe. In 2017, he published his first book in Germany, "Zum Lachen auf die Insel", about his adventures as a German comedian in the UK. His TV and Radio credits include Paul Hollywood (BBC2),The One Show (BBC1) and Britain vs The World (BBC Radio 4).

Phil Nichol (Canada) is an energetic and exciting performer with an unquenchable thirst to break boundaries and innovate with his work. Nichol's 2002 Edinburgh Festival Fringe show "Things I Like I Lick" was nominated for the Perrier Award. In 2007, he was nominated for Best Headliner - Chortle Awards.

Marcel Lucont (France) is an award-winning comic who has appeared on Russel Howard's Good News, BBC1's TV Christmas Special 2014. Credits include over a dozen shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and he has been special guest at Melbourne Comedy Festival. A crowd favourite from the February 2017 showcase show, he is returning to Luxembourg with more material.

Alice Frick (Austria) was a finalist of the national UK competition "Funny Women". Her comedy solo show is called "What the Frick?!", where she chats about being a foreigner in the UK and coming out as gay to her religious grandmother. She also hosts and organises a monthly comedy mix show in London Soho called "Laughing Labia".

Keith Farnan (Ireland) has appeared on BBC's Michael Mcintyre Comedy Roadshow and recently appeared at Montreal Just For Laughs Festival. His four Edinburgh Festival shows have proved a powerful mix of the personal and the political and have sold out their runs at the major comedy festivals in the UK as well as the Soho Theatre and Royal Festival Hall in London.

Preceding the showcase will be a pre-show mingle in the foyer from 18:35. The show will begin at 19:00 sharp (entry from 18:55).
