Chronicle.lu has been allocated five pairs of tickets for the British & Irish Film Festival Luxembourg 2024 Autumn Edition Documentary Double Bill.

This Documentary Double Bill is being held on the evening of Thursday 19 September 2024 at the Cinémathèque in Luxembourg-Ville. Birdsong (IE) will be screened at 18:30, followed by Face Down (IE, EN, DE, ES, AU, US) at 20:30.

Kathleen Harri's Birdsong (in English) follows Irish ornithologist Seán Ronayne on his mission to record the call of every bird species in Ireland (i.e. nearly 200 birds). Gerry Gregg's Face Down (in English) is about the kidnapping and disappearance of German businessman Thomas Niedermayer in Belfast, and its lasting impact on his family.

To participate in the draw for a pair of tickets, send an email (mentioning BIFFL 2024 Autumn Documentary Double Bill) with your first name and surname to editor@chronicle.lu before midday (12:00) on Monday 16 September 2024.

Winners will be contacted directly; their tickets will be available for collection from the festival ticket desk at the cinema entrance prior to the screening.
