The Embassy of Ireland in Luxembourg is celebrating St. Patrick's Day with a virtual reception on Wednesday 17 March 2021, from 12:30 to 13:00.

The St. Patrick's Day virtual reception can be viewed on the following link: ireland.ie/luxembourg. It will then be available for viewing on demand up to 24 March 2021.

The virtual reception will celebrate Irish music, song and dance and includes special remarks by An Taoiseach (Ireland's Prime Minister), Micheál Martin.

The Irish Embassy in Luxembourg has also notified the five winners of its Irish food basket raffle. Irish food products were donated by Bord Bia in Ireland and Home from Home here in Luxembourg (Route d'Arlon). 

In addition, a picture submitted by 6-year-old Chloé has been selected as this year's Embassy Saint Patrick's Day card. Chloé was one of the winners of the Embassy's children's art competition. The Embassy has sent this card (pictured above) to some of the its other contacts in Luxembourg, including Ministers and the Mayor of Luxembourg City.

The artists behind the Embassy's favourite three pictures will receive some Irish books and all artists will receive a small gift.
