Details: Traditionally, the "Postlaf an der Stad" race has been the first on the Luxembourg road racing calendar. In close cooperation with the City of Luxembourg, the 18th edition of this event take place on Sunday 10 March 2013 from 10:00 near the Telecommunications Division of P&T Luxembourg in Cloche d'Or.
New this year in the Postlaf, the Ministry of Finance is organising its first championship road race. This championship is open to participants from the Ministry as well as from the BCEE, the Land Registry, the Tax Offices, the P&T, the Customs Administration and the Financial Regulator, the CSSF.
There are attractive prizes for the first 10 (men and women) and the winner of each age category, with each participant receiving a functional "Postlaf 2013" t-shirt.
The LALUX Kids Run starts at 10:15. The 500m race for children is for those born after 2005. The 1,000m race for children born between 1999 and 2004. The LALUX Kids Run is part of the Yuppi Mini-Laf 2013. An athletics Workshop will be held from 09:00 to 12:30 with AC Schifflange in collaboration with Cactus for children aged 6 to 12 years. A Creche is being organised by Caritas Luxembourg for children aged 2 to 8 years.
A dozen music bands will provide entertainment along the 10 km route, including at the start by by Kaptain Ander before, during and after the awards ceremony.
