The Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) has announced that cult German band BAP will headline the 23rd annual Rock um Knuedler outdoor music festival on Sunday 7 July on the Place Guillaume II in Luxembourg city.

BAP is one of the most successful rock bands ever, and comes as part of their "Extra Tour" in Luxembourg. With the appearance of BAP at 21:45, this open-air Rock Festival is already regarded as an absolute highlight of the summer Luxembourg.

Besides BAP, no less than 19 Luxembourg rock bands will perform on three stages that evening.

Every year up to 15,000 music fans celebrate in the city centre on the Place Guillaume II and Place Clairefontaine with ten hours of non-stop live music. The festival is part of the two-month long summer programme "Summer in the City", within which the LCTO organises cultural events in public places across the capital city throughout the summer.
