Lata Gouveia is one of the leading figures in the Luxembourg music scene working in collaboration with Chris Theis, a double Grammy award-winner.
Lata has been back in Luxembourg since 2001, after spending several years living and sharing the daily life and scenes with the musicians from Austin, Texas as well as the most prominent representatives of the folk scene of the Red Dirt Scene in Oklahoma. He is today one of the leading representatives of the composer-songwriters in Luxembourg and has established himself as the essential actor of the American folk scene with, among other things, his presence in most of the major events in the region.
