Details: The Institute for Global Financial Integrity has announced that they are organising their Twenty-sixth Luxembourg Monthly Finance Lunch on Thursday 17 January 2013 at the Cercle Munster, with guest speaker Judith Hardt, Secretary General of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE), who will speak on "The Impact of Dodd-Frank, EMIR and MiFID on Financial Market Integrity” FESE represents the interests of operators of the European regulated markets and other market segments, comprising the markets for securities, financial derivatives and energy and commodity derivatives at European level. Secretary General Judith Hardt also serves on a number of European advisory committees including ESMA's Securities and Markets Stakeholder Group, the ECB’s Advisory Group on Target 2 Securities, the COGESI group as well as the Commission’s EGMI group on market infrastructures. She is a member of the Board of the European Parliamentary Financial Services Forum (EPFSF) which she chaired in 2006 and 2007. In March 2008, Judith received the “Lobbyist of the Year” award from Compliance Reporter (a Euromoney Institutional Investor publication) for her role in the adoption of the European Code of Conduct on Clearing and Settlement. Before joining FESE in 2005, Judith headed the European Mortgage Federation (EMF), an association representing the interests of Europe’s mortgage industry at EU level.
