Details: The Salon de l’Artisanat has announced that its 8th art exhibition fair, entitled “Art & Passion”, will take place on 29 and 30 October 2016 at Casino2000 in Mondorf-les-Bains, Luxembourg.
This is a two-day event where art exhibitors have the opportunity to present their skills, examples of their work and exchange ideas. This year, the Minister of Culture of Luxembourg, the Chamber of Trades Luxembourg and Lorraine, Mission Métiers d’Art offer their support to the event at Casino2000. In so doing, the above institutions aim to promote as well as represent and defend the general interests of local craftsmanship.
Moreover, this year’s edition of the Salon d’Artisanat houses new ambitions and aims to bring attention to emerging professionals coming from the Grand Duchy.
This year, there will be more exhibitions than ever before: 90 art exhibitors with 50% of them being new artisans coming from more than 28 different professions, from the traditional like jewellers to the more original like feather workers.
Among the works to be on display are objects from Gilles Gardula’s Classe “Design Produit” from the Lycée des Arts & Métiers de Luxembourg. These objects have been created in cooperation with the Centre Professionnel International de Formation aux Arts Céramiques, Velaine-en-Haye.
