Details: Luxembourg Rugby fans can enjoy top quality rugby for the 2016-17 season as Rugby Club Luxembourg (RCL) embarks on a new adventure in Germany's Bundesliga Division one.
As of the end of August, the senior squad have been training hard, under new head coach Alex Van Zeeland, for a season which will see them face several well funded professional teams.
"We are doing everything possible to prepare for this season on and off the pitch" said development officer Paul Sweetnam. "RCL has invested in new GPS and GoPro technology to aid training sessions, new pitch-side hospitality tents for supporters and this week we have flown in two professional coaches from Ireland to help prepare the seniors, the U18s and the U16s (who will all play in Division 1 in their respective leagues this season). With our ecolé de Rugby training also starting on Saturday we hope there will be a big crowd to support the seniors at 15:00."
