Details: The Water Art Festival is taking place at Insenborn on the shore of the lake at Esch-sur-Sure on Friday 22 July 2016 from 18:00.

Three bands will perform, including Tinariwen, Seed to Tree and Attentat Fanfare.

With over 30 years of existence, a Grammy award for best world music album in 2012 and acclaimed performances at the world’s greatest festivals, including Glastonbury, Paleo Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival and Coachella, TINARIWEN are considered the fathers and front runners of the modern Touareg musical current. Originated in exile and strongly linked to the Touareg rebellion of the early 90’s and the peace installed thereafter, their style, known among Touaregs as ‘Assouf’, combines traditional Saharan sounds with blues and rock. To record EMMAAR, their 6th album, they chose the cradle of stone rock, the national park of joshua tree, homeland of Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age and the Eagles of Death Metal. A new electric breath, a new inspiration and the unseen yet strong link between two deserts, two places marked by trance, two massive landscapes of psychedelia...
