Details: Saturday 30 April 2016 will mark the 13th edition of the Out of the Crowd music festival at the Kulturfabrik, bringing with it bands from across the world.

Organised by the Schalltot collective in partnership with Rotondes and the Kulturfabrik cultural centre, the festival has become a reference for the Luxembourg underground scene with its varied programme combining renowned international and local groups and offering merchandising stands, vegetarian food and every kind of information.

For the 2016 edition, the festival will be welcoming for the first time Canadian group Ought, which are signed to Montreal label Constellation Records and exude feverish post-punk through their on-stage performances. Irish band Girls Names, another feature in the genre, will alsobe joining after creating one of the most exciting albums in the indie-rock galaxy alongside Arms Around a Vision.

Experimental music will be shining through this year in the form of Japanese group Mouse On The Keys who will play a unique show in the region to unveil their complex jazz creations. Raw electronica will be covered by French Quadrupede, who made a name for themselves at the Arctangent festival, as well as the analogue synths of Brits AK/DK.

Luxembourg's talents will certainly not be overlooked, and will instead be honoured with the presence of highly-acclaimed producers Sun Glitters and Aamar who will present an exclusive set combining the electro universe of each, whilst the new generation of the country's indie-pop scene will shine forth through Tuys.
