Details: The Rock um Knuedler urban rock festival has been a key pillar of the Luxembourgish rock and pop scene for 26 years and this year takes place this Sunday 17 July from 14:30. The event is being organised by the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) and takes place on in the centre of Luxembourg city on three open-air stages – on the Place Guillaume II (Knuedler), Place Clairefontaine, Rue du St Esprit) - and in the Casemates du Bock. Each year the festival offers several hours of live music during the afternoon and evening and attracts thousands of music-lovers of music from Luxembourg and the Greater Region. This year, the British rock artist Marlon Roudette is headlining the festival. Marlon Roudette has written the hits “When the Beat Drops Out” and “Anti Hero” and will be entertaining the audience at 21:45 on Place Guillaume II. The festival is part of the "Summer in the City" programme of music and other cultural events being organised by the Luxembourg City Tourist Office in the capital of Luxembourg throughout the summer. Entry to the festival is free. A catering space is located in immediate proximity of the three stages. The outdoor catering service uses recycling containers that are environmentally friendly.
