Details: The Clinical and Epidemiological Investigation Centre (CIEC) of the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH) will be celebrating International Clinical Trials’ Day by screening the 1990 film Awakenings at 18:00 on Friday 27 May 2016 at Utopolis-Belval in Esch-Belval.

Robin Williams stars in this films that tells a true story about the British neurologist Oliver Sacks, who, discovered in 1969 beneficial effects of the drug L-Dopa, the goldstandard treatment for Parkinson’s disease. The film also holds talents: Robert De Niro, John Heard, Ruth Nelson and Julie Kavner. The film will be in English with French Subtitles.
