Italian pop trio Il Volo will be making their Grand Duchy debut on Friday 27 May 2016 at Rockhal.
Il Volo have performed all over the world in the past few years alone, and in 2016 it will be Luxembourg's turn to experience their self-proclaimed 'popera' creations.
Baritone Gianluca Ginoble and tenors Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto won the Sanremo Music Festival 2015, before representing their home country of Italy in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest held on 23 May earlier this year. Whilst they reached third place, their first place position in the televoting demonstrated their popularity with the public.
Next May a Luxembourg audience will experience three members in three languages, with the trio due to perform pop and traditional songs backed by symphony orchestras in English, Italian and Spanish.
