Details:For the first time, the British comedian Eddie Izzard and his show “Force Majeur” will be in Luxembourg as part of his world tour. His show will only be in French and will take place in the Théâtre National du Luxembourg from 28 until 29 September 2015 at 20:00  .

This show is part of the largest touring of stand-up comedy ever made. The gigantic world tour began in the spring of 2013 and its French tour for 16 dates will take place not only in Luxembourg but also in France, Switzerland, and Belgium.

The new show, “Force Majeure”, tells the story of human sacrifice, kings who place their dog on the head, Caesar became a salad, of God and Darth Vader who fight over spaghetti carbonara dish, of the relation between teaspoons and gender in English grammar or a group of moles that became rich...

From London to Los Angeles, from Moscow to Melbourne, from Chicago to Cape Town, once the World tour will end, Eddie and “Force Majeur” will have travelled to over 27 countries throughout Europe, United States, Africa, Russia, Australia and New Zealand.

In 2011, Eddie Izzard spent three months in the residence at the Theatre de Dix Heures in Paris, where he played, “Stripped: tout en franҫais!” ending in apotheosis by a recorded performance at La Cigale. The DVD of the show “Stripped: tout en franҫais!” was released in France in December 2014
