Details: The British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) has announced it will be organising a lunch event on “The modernisation of family policy”, with Luxembourg’s Minister for Family and Integration, Corinne Cahen as a guest speaker, on Thursday 11 June at La Table du Belvedere in Luxembourg-Kirchberg, from 12:00.

Minister Cahen will touch on recent reforms, such as family leave and parental allowances. She was elected to Parliament, following the October 2013 legislative elections, and joined the government as a Minister in December that year.

She studied at the Université des sciences humaines de Strasbourg and the Université Nice Sophia Antipolis in applied foreign languages, business and commerce. She completed her higher education with a DESS (post-graduate diploma of specialised studies) in bilingual French-English journalism from the Université Sorbonne nouvelle – Paris 3. She has a professional background in journalism and commerce.

The actual lunch will commence at 12:30, and the cost of the event is €35 for  members and €50 for non-members. The fees are payable in cash at the door, but those interested in attending must complete the reservation form at: http://www.bcc.lu/civicrm/event/register?id=113&reset=1.

This event operates a no-show policy.
