Details: The first exhibition  of the tenth edition of the “Konscht am Gronn” (Art in Grund) gets underway this Sunday 3 May, with the official opening scheduled at 11:00, with Ville de Luxembourg Mayor, Lydie Polfer, and musical entertainment provided by “Grënnesch Spatzen”.

The open air art gallery will feature every first Sunday from May through October from 10:00 to 18:00 at the Rue Munster, on the Grund bridge over the Alzette River – located opposite the exit tunnel of the St. Esprit-Grund lift.

For the sixth year, it will be organised with the support of the Ville de Luxembourg. With a picturesque surrounding and friendly, family atmosphere, this exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to discover and acquire a multitude of works of art and original creations (paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics and photographs) of thirty artists from ten different nationalities.

In the past, “Konscht am Gronn” has attracted between 1,200 and 1,500 visitors per edition. Moreover, as in previous years, a barrel organ turner will be on-site throughout the day to add ambiance, as well as a free concert featuring international musicians at 15:00.

Visitation of the gallery is free.
