Details: A breakfast conference organised by Atout Image on the theme, “Being and/or appearing? That is the question!”, will be held on Wednesday 6 May from 08:30 to 10:00.
What is self-image?
This conference will discuss the perception of male and female image. With the daily bombardment of hundreds of thousands of images via the web, television, media, advertising, our brains – whether we like it or not = are constantly visually stimulated. The brain captures, decodes, sorts, filters, selects and encodes new information. How is our own image influenced? Given the “standards” imposed by the significance of image, how do some people succeed despite a different appearance?
Personalities, styles and perception of the world affects image, behaviour and success. In order to succeed, developing an adapted interpersonal communication strategy is necessary, as well as establishing a detailed big-picture view to improve image and achieve professional and personal goals.
The conference will be conducted by Corinne Migueres, business consultant and expert in image and interpersonal communication.
