Details: The Luxembourg-Latvia Association, in partnership with the CinEast festival, is organising a screening of the film La Leçon (The Lesson) at Ciné Utopia on Tuesday 10 March 2015 at 19:00.
The director Andris Gauja and actress Elza Feldmane will attend the screening which will be in Latvian with English sub-titles. The film was the most popular Latvian film in 2014, with over 36,000 people watching the film in cinemas across Latvia.
synopsis: A devoted teacher in a Latvian high school faces a stark choice between her personal happiness and the pressures of society.
