Details: The Barcodes will launch their new album "3" on Friday 10 April 2015 at 19:30 at the Rockhal club in Esch-Belval.
After "At the End of the Road of Nowhere" in 2010 and "Nice Boys Do not Play Rock'n'Roll" in 2012, The Barcodes are about to release their third album, "3". Backed by Porn Queen (LU), The Tramps (BE), Blondstone (FR) and The Filthy Broke Billionaires (LU), The Barcodes will perform tracks from "3".
"3" is a dynamic album, consisting of thirteen tracks transpiring pure supercharged rock. Recorded by Charel Stoltz and The Barcodes in Holtz Sound Studios in Luxembourg and mastered by Ivan Julian at HED Studios in New York City, "3" is a far richer album exploitation than before, including through the participation of guest musicians. With its powerful riffs and explosive energy, the album perfectly captures the different musical backgrounds of the band members and ranks somewhere between garage Rock'n'Roll in the sixties to the Sonics, punk predecessor Stooges or Motörhead or current references like The Datsuns and The Jim Jones Revue.
In addition to its programme of activities, training and coaching, the Rockhal Resource Center provides the opportunity to Luxembourg bands and artists, with a concrete musical project in mind, to produce their release show at the Rockhal. Bands and artists can benefit from professional conditions for the launch of their CD and enjoy the infrastructure of the Rockhal and supervision of the Resource Centre team.
