Details: The new band "The Slow Show" will perform a concert of their new album release "White Water" at the Rockhal on Monday 1 June 2015 at 20:30.
This group from Manchester brings a unique soothing sound that transports the audience into a peaceful dream-like state. After releasing just one EP, this band has had airplay from BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 2, as well as playing sold out shows around Europe. The Slow Show's dynamic, warm and organic sound features multiple references to American alt folk/country, but with a distinctive Northern English touch. Their minimal but epic songs swell from gentle piano-led Americana to roaring choruses accompanied by string sections. In March 2015, the band will release their debut album “White Water”.
