The British Chamber of Commerce is organising a conference on business in Luxembourg, which will take place Wednesday 26 November at 18:00 at the Double Tree by Hilton in Luxembourg-Dommeldange.
At the event, a group of illustrious panellists will present and discuss the findings of the autumn edition of the biannual survey (sixth edition overall) conducted by KPMG and the Luxembourger Wort – the Luxembourg Business Compass, which focuses on the six to twelve-month outlook of the Luxembourg economy, as well as business leaders’ expectations and their plans for their companies.
The panellists - which include Managing Partner at KPMG, Georges Bock, who will moderate the debate, Director of CEBI International, Joëlle Elvinger, CEO of HSBC Luxembourg, Nigel Fielding, CEO of CLDN Cobelfret, Michel Jadot, Partner at Linklaters Luxembourg, Nicki Kayser and CEO of Luxembourg for Finance, Nicolas Mackel – will address various questions surrounding the future of the Luxembourg business landscape.
A debate will then be held titled: “Europe sneezes: will Luxembourg catch a cold?” and the business leaders will discuss the challenges for 2015 and the key issues the Luxembourg government will need to focus on.
The evening’s proceedings will kick off with the registration at 18:00 and the conference itself beginning at 18:30. Following the interactive discussions between panel and audience, there will be drinks and a dinner buffet provided to close the evening, as well as the opportunity to meet and socialise with Chamber Members and the panellists.
