Details:

Details: Lou Gervais, Guidance Office at the International School Luxembourg (ISL) has been holding a regular series of parenting seminars which are becoming quite popular with parents; these are now being opened to the wider community.

The seminars cover a range of topics helpful to parents and pull in experts and resources from the Luxembourg government, professionals in various fields, together with experts from the ISL and other schools.

The next seminar is on Tuesday 17 June and it is entitled "Respect...Responsibility...Resiliency". Here is how Lou describes it: "Parenting is one of the most challenging jobs but also one of the most rewarding. Well known Luxembourg based psychologist/author Mr Fari Khabirpour will facilitate our last parenting seminar for this school year on 17 June. Mr Khabirpour will share his vast knowledge and experiences with working with families on the importance of positive influences which sometimes are taken for granted. This seminar will address the three themes mentioned above, RESPECT...RESPONSIBILITY....RESILIENCY, and will set the stage for a follow up resiliency seminar in our new school year."
