Details: The Telstar Scout group is holding a fundraising Second Hand Sale 2014 on Saturday 29 MArch 2014 from 10:00 - 14:00 at St George's International School in Luxembourg-Hamm.
the sale will include books, CSd, DVDs, chinaware, toys, games, scouting equipment, household goods - all at bargain prices! Drinks, coffee, quiche, cakes and chili will be available too.
All sections are being involved in the sale – including provided refreshments (coffee and cakes) as well as the chili, a tombola and other games, and also selling homemade items.
The organisers have said that they need donations – books, CDs, DVDs, toys, chinaware, gifts etc. – things that are no longer needed or wanted, but which will be just the right thing for someone else! They do not need clothes, but for special items, e.g. ski-suits, wetsuits, nearly new walking boots, please let them know. If possible, please put items which belong together (e.g. parts of a game, matching jewellery) in little bags so that they don't get separated. Please contact the organisers at events@telstar.lu if you have any large items – normally they do not take furniture or items that are difficult to transport, but there may be exceptions.
Donations can be brought to Telstar Scouts at St Georges during the week before the sale: Telstar will send out exact days and timings for this, and will put information on the Telstar website. Please do not bring anything to St Georges before then, and please don't give things to St Georges staff as this could lead to misunderstandings. If you would like to start off-loading your donations before that week, please contact the organisers and wthey can arrange to store things.
