Local author Terry Adams will read from his latest publication, his eighth, Buy you the Moon, and will sign copies of his book of stories and poems. A drink will be offered and live music will accompany the event.
Born in Tullamore, Co. Offaly, Ireland, Terry Adams has lived for the past twenty-three years in Luxembourg city. He has written poetry, prose and novels all with a large Irish slant and accent.
Poems and stories recount growing up as a small part of a large Irish family. From the early sixties up to the present, poems and prose tell the story of the most influential people in the author’s life: parents, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, cousins, friends, neighbours all feature. Often in life the earliest influences are the most poignant and permanent.
