Details: The Irish Club of Luxembourg has announced details of its annual Sponsored Charity Walk which will take place on Sunday 29 September 2013 from 14:00 in Beach (located between Junglinster and Echternach.
The charity supported this year by the club and the event is the Ilula Orphan Programme in Tanzania.
The starting point for the walk is the Gare in Bech which is situated to the right approximately halfway between Junglinster and Echternach, about 30 minutes from Luxembourg. (In Bech the road to the gare is to the right, there is a small sign but it can be difficult to see).
This walk is very interesting and fun with activities for all ages. It is 5.5 km in distance, taking about 2.5 hours including a break for refreshments.
After the walk, the Club has reserved a great little café-restaurant / pizzeria (New Space) in Consdorf, 4 minutes drive from the finish. It has been offered the party room, so there is room for many.
