The Frënn vum Kielener Brennereimusée Asbl is organising the fourth edition of the "Mirabelle Fest" at the Brennereimusée (Distillery Museum) in Kehlen (13 Rue d'Olm) on Sunday 30 August 2026, from 11:00.
The festival will feature a range of mirabelle plum specialities, including mirabelle brandy, liqueur and tarts, alongside grilled food, live musical entertainment, face painting and other activities for children.
Visitors can also take part in a traditional Mëttegiesse (lunch), served from 12:30, featuring spit-roasted pork, boiled potatoes, bean salad and a slice of mirabelle tart for €30 per person.
As in previous years, fresh mirabelle tarts prepared with locally grown fruit will be available throughout the day.
