The Association of British and Irish Accountants in Luxembourg (ABIAL) will host a conference on Artificial Intelligence in Finance and Accounting on Thursday 12 February 2026 at 18:30, at the premises of KPMG Luxembourg, In Luxembourg-Kirchberg.

ABIAL have said the conference, titled “Artificial Intelligence in Finance & Accounting: Trends, Actual Cases and Future Perspectives”, will explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is shaping the future of finance and accounting with insights from two leading experts.

The speakers will include Denis de Montigny, former CFO of Edmond de Rothschild Bank and CFA Researcher in AI at University College London who specialises in AI applications for asset management and private equity, and Pawel Zdanowicz, Senior Manager, KPMG Luxembourg, an expert in digital transformation and AI-driven solutions for the financial sector.

Agenda:

  1. Introduction: Brief background of AI and its recent acceleration in the industry;
  2. Actual Cases: Practical examples from both the global and Luxembourg markets;
  3. Implementation Considerations: Governance, privacy, regulatory landscape and real-world legal cases;
