On Saturday 3 May and Sunday 4 May 2025, the Festival Elsy Jacobs international women's cycling race will take place in Garnich and Luxembourg-Cessange.
The first stage of the race will take place in Garnich (southwestern Luxembourg), departing from Rue des Trois Cantons at 13:30 on Saturday 3 May 2025. The last cyclist is expected to arrive back at 16:45, followed by the podium ceremony and prize distribution. The route will cover a total distance of 112.4km and pass through Kahler, Grass and Clemency.
The second stage of the race will take place in Luxembourg-Cessange, departing from Rue de Cessange at 13:30 on Sunday 4 May 2025. This stage will end back at approximately 16:30, with the podium ceremony taking place in Cessange. The route will cover a distance of 112.6km and pass through Roedgen, Schleiwenhaff and Leudelange.
The City of Luxembourg (VdL) has reported that traffic disruptions are expected on both days, certain roads and adjacent streets will be closed to traffic from 10:00 to 18:00 (except for local residents) and that certain buses will also be diverted during the race.
