Luxicals asbl, an amateur musical group in Luxembourg, has announced details of its new Christmas song and upcoming Christmas concert.
The new song, “Something Magical”, was entirely written, recorded and produced in Luxembourg. The song will be performed for the first time at the Christmas market in Steinfort on Saturday 14 December 2024 at 17:00.
The Christmas concert, titled "Christmas at Grand Hotel Wellington”, will feature a multilingual performance, with dialogues in Luxembourgish and songs in Luxembourgish, German, English and French.
The performance is described as a “festive and heartwarming story about St. Nicholas (Kleeschen), who, after a busy 6th of December, decides to take a holiday but ends up at the Grand Hotel Wellington, where unexpected challenges arise”.
It will take place at the Forum Geesseknäppchen in Luxembourg-Merl on Saturday 21 December at 18:00 and Sunday 22 December 2024 at 15:00. Tickets for the event cost €10 for adults and €5 for under-18s.
