The Tourist Office Vianden is organising a Mega Hike on Saturday 6 April 2024, with start times between 06:00 and 08:00.
The outdoor experience will take the form of a breathtaking 50-kilometre hike through the enchanting surroundings of Vianden. The route leads through picturesque villages, dense forests and offers spectacular views of Luxembourg's nature, where participants will encounter rich history with notable landmarks.
The Mega Hike is aimed at outdoor enthusiasts, adventurers and nature lovers alike - whether experienced hikers or newcomers.
Participants will have the opportunity to put their stamina and wanderlust to the test while enjoying the beauty of the surroundings.
The start will be from the Centre Culturel Larei on Rue Charles Matthias in Vianden. All participants finishing the hike will receive a certificate and medal.
The cost/participant is €29. Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks will be served at different points during the hike. The snacks and drinks offered are included in the participation fee.
