The Abbaye de Neumünster (neimënster) in Luxembourg-Grund will host a family-friendly Hallowe’en celebration on Sunday 29 October 2023.
For this special day, neimënster will put on season-specific colours with thematic decoration and will organise various creative workshops for children.
Multiple workshops will entertain guests, from scary makeup to making masks and spiders on their web with recycled objects, from street art using Hallowe'en-themed stencils to a workshop with DJ Junior Akwety, including the creation of “terrifying” cupcakes and the personalised flocking of canvas bags (reservation strongly recommended).
Various artist will create a special atmosphere and tell scary stories with creations in images and music. They will also show their “secrets” and introduce their guests into the art of “scares”.
In addition to the makeup stands, children will be able to participate in a costume swap to exchange outfits that are too small for others that are more suitable. They will also be able to collect sweets and candy.
The activities will start at 11:00 on Sunday 29 October 2023, and will take place across the entire site. Tickets cost €15 (normal fee), €9 (reduced) and €1.50 Kulturpass.
