Luxembourg-based higher education institution LUNEX has announced a strategic partnership made with Lëtz Menopause asbl to strengthen education and awareness of women's health and menopause in Luxembourg.

Launched on Wednesday 4 November 2026, the partnership brings together expertise in higher education, professional development and women's health, with a focus on evidence-based education and practical learning opportunities.

Both parties formalised the collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), establishing a long-term strategic partnership in women's health.

As a first initiative, the organisations have jointly developed a continuing professional development (CPD) programme entitled "Hormones & Performance - A Career-Long Approach to Women's Health and Menopause Transition", with support from LALUX.

The 24-hour programme aims to translate current scientific evidence on women's hormonal health into practical strategies for professional and everyday settings. It combines face-to-face teaching, self-paced online learning, interactive activities and live online sessions.

Furthermore the course covers hormonal health across different stages of women's careers, from menstrual health to perimenopause and menopause. Topics include cognition, stress, energy, communication, leadership and workplace functioning.

According to LUNEX, the first edition targets professional women, healthcare professionals, managers, human resources (HR) leaders, coaches, occupational health practitioners, educators and other professionals interested in women's health. Participants who successfully complete the programme will receive a LUNEX certificate.

Dr Jessica Price, Dr Sara Vernocchi and Dr Ana Aranda from LUNEX will coordinate the initiative alongside Dr Susanne Folschette-Tomaszewski, Diane Elsen and Marthe Schmit from Lëtz Menopause.

The course is set to begin on Thursday 28 January 2027, with applications already open.

The hybrid course will begin with an on-site event, followed by self-paced digital learning over three months. It will take place in English and cost €750 per participant.
