The Altrimenti cultural centre in Luxembourg City is holding its next monthly jazz event on Friday 6 October 2023 at 20:00.
This forms part of a new concert series within the scope of the "Altrimenti - Jazz Club" project. The upcoming show features Back to C Trio.
Gathered around Pierre Cocq-Amann, the trio is driven by an original project: to revive a forgotten instrument from the 1930s: the C Melody Saxophone, a non-transposing saxophone with a range situated between alto and tenor. Far from being an exercise for the well-versed music lover, this trio from Lorraine promises to offer listeners a modern, rich and evocative musical experience.
After an already promising first year, Back To C recorded its first album "Deeper" in January 2022. Recorded at La Grange à Musique by Jean-Pascal Boffo, this debut record features eleven tracks.
Doors open at 19:00, with the show starting at 20:00. Tickets cost €20.
