Lisanga Asbl and the Association Afrique Festival & Arts de Luxembourg (AAFAL) are organising an "Africa Festival" on Saturday 14 October 2023 from 12:00 on the Place de la Mairie in Esch-sur-Alzette.
The event will comprise a number of components, including an "association village", tropical cuisine, items on sale, a fashion show, artists' stands and a live concert.
Free entry. No prior registration required.
About the organisers
Lisanga Asbl is an association aimed at promoting Congolese culture in the Grand Duchy and in the Greater Region, and is based in Esch-sur-Alzette.
AAFAL Luxembourg promotes African culture, including the organisation of conferences, sports events, volunteering in Luxembourg and cultural exchange with other associations. In July it held an event in Cessange promoting the Ivory Coast.
