Details:

The sixteenth edition of the Printemps des Poètes festival will take place from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 April 2023 across Luxembourg.

Launched in 1999 in France, the Printemps des Poètes has since made its way across borders.

Taking the stage in Luxembourg this year will be twelve poets from around Europe: Laura Accerboni (Italy), Martina Caluori (Switzerland), Nuria Contreras Coll (Catalonia/Spain), Santos Dominguez Ramos (Spain), Donatien Garnier (France), DR Congo (Austria), Mathias Ospelt (Liechtenstein), Cosmin Perţa (Romania) and Elise Schmit (Luxembourg). Their poetry will be mostly read in translation (in French and German), for Luxembourg audiences.

The festival kicks off on Friday 21 April with a welcome and buffet at 19:00, followed by the main event featuring seven poets at 20:00. To reserve tickets, email: inscriptions@ kulturfabrik.lu. On Saturday 22 April, a two-part marathon will bring together the twelve poets in Abbaye de Neumünster (neimënster); the event starts at 19:00 (with a meal break at 21:00). To reserve tickets, email: billetterie@neimenster.lu. Then, five poets will come together again, this time in the Simoncini gallery, on Sunday 23 April at 11:00.
