Details: Children's Rights Day is being organised this Saturday 4 May 2013 on the Place d'Armes in Luxembourg city centre.
On Saturday, the educational entertainment and leisure centre (Capel), the Medical Service School of the City of Luxembourg and UNICEF Luxembourg are combining to organise a day dedicated to children's rights to be held from 10:30 to 17:00 on the Place d'Armes: this year, the right to health is the centre theme of the event.
After a welcome address by city alderman responsible for children, Colette Mart, the P. Bassi group from foyer on rue Verger in Bonnevoie will present a dance performance at 11:20. Throughout the afternoon, parents and children can learn from stands on different aspects of health and participate in activities such as workshops on DIY, tastings, skipping and other games based on movement.
An exhibition of work by children from different classes of the primary school at the Gare, Belair and Cessange on the subject of health will complete the programme at the Cercle Cité on Saturday 4 May 4 from 10:30 to 17:00 and Sunday 5 May from 14:00 to 17:00.
