The Luxembourg Athletics Federation (Fédération Luxembourgeoise d'Athlétisme - FLA) has announced that it is organising the 37th edition of the JP Morgan City Jogging 2022 with the logistical and sports support of the Ville de Luxembourg, taking place on Sunday 3 July 2022.
The JP Morgan City Jogging as well as the City walking and Nordic walking will follow the same routes, 6 km or 10 km, through Luxembourg City: d’Coque, Clausen, Petrusse Valley, Place d’Armes, Grand-rue, Pont Grand-Duchesse Charlotte and back to d’Coque.
The official start of the JP Morgan City Jogging, with instructors from the Service des Sports Ville de Luxembourg, will begin at 10:00 while City walking and Nordic walking will begin at around 10:10.
Sports activities and games for children aged five to twelve will be organised by the FLA in association with the Service des Sports Ville de Luxembourg and the CSL from 10:15 to 11:45.
At 12:00, a 1 km race for children aged five to tweleve, "Kids Jogging" will start with supervision from the Service des Sports Ville de Luxembourg.
In addition, introduction to the "Orienteering Run" will be organised:
- A course of about 1.1 km for "Kids", starting age nine.
- A course of about 3.2 km for "Adults", starting age fifteen.
