Details: The first Luxembourg Ironman competition will take place in Remich on 8 September 2013 in Remich.
The event involves a 1.9km swim (Remich - Schengen - Remich), a 90 km cycle and a 21.1km run (laps of 4.5km) and counts toward the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii in October.
The organisers have annoucned a capacity of 1,800 participants and 150 teams.
36 year-old Dirk Bockel, top triathlete who competes across the world at triathlon and Ironman events, will be among the participants.
