Details: The April Power Lunch organised by Tower Training takes place on Friday 26 April 2013 from 12:00 to 14:00 at the NH Hotel in Findel with Guest Speaker Patricia Quiddington MIB MIA, Organisational Consultant, who will speak on the subject "Emotional Intelligence in Organisations: Do we need it? Can we really measure it?".
Emotional Intelligence (EI) continues to be a hot topic on many executive management agendas and is still a multidimensional subject for the employee. Yet, despite its prevalence, we hear little from both worker and organisational perspective on the subject.
In this Power Lunch, Patricia will present questions such as: What is Emotional Intelligence? Can we and should we measure a person’s EI IQ? Are there any benefits to EI-based assessment interventions? What might EI training look like for an employee in an organisation?
Participants will be provided with background, models, research, and experiences to develop answers to these questions about EI. This Power Lunch will combine presentation, EI assessment, demonstration and group discussion to create a rich multi-method learning experience. This is sure to be a beneficial learning experience for all who attend!
